15 Under-age Robbers Nabbed, Female Member

About fifteen under-aged armed robbers were today,
3rd of January 2013, rounded up at Adabo area of
Iseyin, in Oyo state.
The boys, numbering about fifteen went to rob a man
{name withheld} in the wee hours of yesterday,
leaving their victim with deep machete cuts before
robbing him of valuables in his possession.
Fate however ran against them as one of them was
spotted by the victim, who managed to call for help
from neighbors and told them of the identity of one of
the robbers.
The leader of the gang, simply known as 'Saheed
Alanta' and his group were stormed early this
morning by the neighbors, with the help of security
agents, after they had arrested the only female
member, who took them to the robbers hideout at
Adabo central market, at Iseyin.
The local government interim caretaker chairman,
Alhaji Saheed Adejare Alaran, in a phone conversation
with the Divisional police officer when informed early
this morning, commended the police authority for the
urgent attention given to the call and also asked the
security operatives to keep more vigil, as armed
attacks in individuals' houses are on the rise.
