WICKEDNESS: Man Poisons Lover In Lagos Hotel, Body Found In The Bush

Ijeoma Nwachukwu, a 27-year-old lady, was murdered by her boyfriend in a hotel at the satellite town area of Lagos and dumped in nearby bush.

According to report, she and the accused, Christian, who works as an apprentice spare parts seller inside the Trade Fair Complex, Lagos have been dating for 4-years.
Before the incident, she was said to have informed her boyfriend that she was getting married to someone. On that fateful day, Christian had called her to meet him under the Trade Fair Complex Bridge. She came with her friend, one Miss Joy, Christian but he asked her to send her friend away and meet him Cossy Inn, a hotel located at Abule Osun in Satellite town, Lagos.
According to police investigation, when they got to the hotel, Christian opened a bottle of Malt drink and sent her out to pick something at the reception, he then poisoned the drink with what the police suspect to be electrolyte acid, before her return. He also allegedly had sex with her, after which she began to complain of stomach pains before she collapsed. Christian hurriedly left the hotel, informing the receptionist that his lady was dressing up.
The lifeless body of Ijeoma was later discovered by the receptionist who called the hotel owner, one Mr. Sango Olusegun Tumo. Mr. Sango reportedly called his brother, Kehinde Ajibola and they decided not to involve the police. They were the ones who allegedly dumped the body in the nearby bush.
The lifeless body was later found by some members of the public who reported it to the police and a team of detectives, led by an assistant commissioner of police, ACP Okoro, and other officers, including the Divisional Police Officer (DPO) in charge of Onireke Police Station, sprung into action.
Confirming the incident, ACP Okoro said all those behind the crime have been arrested.
